Inspiration
The brand's most iconic collection, MARRAKECH, is also Marco Bicego's first design.
Originating from a sudden insight of an imperfect chain in his father's factory, Marco set out to create the "perfect" coil.
Extremely fine gold strands are wound in a spiral around a core, before being twisted to create the characteristic wave-like movement. The modular, subtle weave reveals a movement reminiscent of the sand dunes of the African desert: shaped by the wind and reflecting the sunlight in a uniquely dazzling way.
Coil
An extremely fine 18 karat gold strand is wound in a spiral around a core – that is likewise made of gold – before being shaped by the expert hands of craftsmen, who give it its soft and sinuous form.
